My job – my passion

I am a translator of English by choice, qualification, and passion. I graduated from the English Studies Department at the University of Silesia in Katowice and then completed a post-graduate translation and interpreting course at the same University. I’ve held my sworn translation licence since 2003 and my name is entered in the List of Certified Translators kept by the Minister of Justice. Language as a fascinating tool for interpersonal communication – is my passion.

Craftsmanship and expertise

Translation is about more than just relating a message – it’s about a professional approach to all aspects of international communication and doing justice to its complex nature.

I work closely with native speakers who verify the quality of my translation output, and whose feedback directs my development. I’ve taken a computer assisted translation course and use memoQ for many of the translation projects that I take on.

I work for clients from all over Poland. I am also available for international business travel. I providenon-certified translation services remotely. In many cases, I can provide certified translation services remotely, by sending and receiving documents by registered mail or courier service to and from the client. I’ve sent certified translations all over the world, even as far away as Singapore.

My clients appreciate my comprehensive knowledge of the English language, clear articulation, and near-native British pronunciation. They are amazed at how I am able to relay all nuances of the original message and not get lost in a thicket of specialist terminology, for example when I assisted an architect in guiding an international group around the NOSPR concert hall in Katowice. I can accurately remember and reproduce long stretches of speech without losing any content, even when the speaker forgets to pause for the interpreter, which on one occasion was acknowledged with applause from the audience.
